Traditional Christmas break in North Yorkshire
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm Yorkshire welcome, and the Hall will be decked with all the trimmings of the season and full of festive cheer.
Look forward to delicious festive feasts, freshly baked mince pies, carols by the log fire, our renowned Christmas quiz, a visit to the local pantomime, and perhaps even a special delivery from Santa!
Christmas Eve
Arrive to a festive welcome, unpack and settle into your Christmas home from home, then join us by the fireside for afternoon tea canapes and carols. Before dinner is served, enjoy a selection of canapes and glass of fizz accompanied by live piano music.
Christmas Day
Begin the day with a hearty full Yorkshire breakfast, then take a morning stroll through the beautiful countryside to work up an appetite for lunch. Enjoy a Champagne reception, followed by a delicious three-course Christmas Day lunch, followed by coffee and freshly baked mince pies. In the afternoon, join us in The Old Hall for the King’s Speech, homemade Christmas cake, and coffee by the fire. The festive feasting continues with an evening carved buffet.
Boxing Day
After a restful night, enjoy a full Yorkshire breakfast before deciding how to spend your day. If you’re feeling adventurous, head to the coast for a Boxing Day dip, or simply relax by the fire. For lunch, a laid-back buffet awaits, followed by a fun-filled trip to the local pantomime. In the evening, enjoy a cocktail reception, black tie dinner, and fun casino.
27th December
Enjoy one last delicious breakfast before we say a fond farewell, sending you home with festive memories to last until next year.
