The lead up to Christmas is about spending time with your loved ones.  Enjoy a festive Sunday roast with your family and friends in the beautiful surroundings of Chaloner’s Restaurant with all the trimmings.

Festive Sunday lunch menu*

To start
– Homemade roast winter vegetable soup (GF)
– Farmhouse terrine, cranberry chutney, ciabatta
– Mulled wine braised pear and feta cheese salad, pickled shallot, brioche croutons, toasted hazelnut dressing
– Smoked salmon and salmon cannelloni, salted cucumber and bloody Mary mayonnaise
– Baked camembert, garlic butter baguette

To follow
– Roast topside of local beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables roast gravy
– Traditional roast turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cranberry and chestnut stuffing, bread sauce and roast gravy
– North sea cod, smoked bacon, edamame bean and tarragon risotto, crispy onions and samphire
– Cornfed chicken breast, Parmesan mashed potato, pea, wild mushroom and pancetta fricassee, red wine jus
– Confit vegetable and blue cheese parcel, roast beetroot and baby potato salad basil pesto

To finish
– Christmas pudding with brandy sauce
– Vanilla crème brûlée with homemade chocolate and chestnut shortbread
– Passion fruit and white chocolate cheesecake, spiced rum roast pineapple salsa
– Mulled cider poached pear, vanilla fudge meringue and salt caramel sauce (GF)
– Selection of local and continental cheese and biscuits (GF)
