Somewhere you feel welcome
Overlooking the Cleveland Hills and the front lawn, the views are spectacular from the terrace, unchanged since 1857. This is a wonderful area to while away the hours, reading a book, relaxing with friends or family, enjoying a light lunch, afternoon tea or an aperitif.
The lawn was marked out in Edwardian times for lawn tennis and croquet. It is now used for strolling, playing one of our garden games and a great area for the children to run around.
During the summer months we serve ‘tapas on the terrace’. Chef has created a Spanish tapas inspired menu that you can enjoy during the early evening sun.
With the ivy clad Hall behind it, the terrace makes an impressive setting for those special occasion photographs.
