Restaurant Manager

Sophie first discovered her passion for hospitality when she studied Professional Cookery up to level two at Middlesbrough College and the rest is history!…Sophie furthered her learning by completing Catering  Management NVQ and has recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Hospitality Business Management.

Sophie has worked in hospitality for over 12 years with her first job being a cook in a small Cafe in Stockton at the age of 16. Her experience means she is no stranger to working both sides of the pass. Sophie also gained experience as general manager at Badgers in Gisborough High Street, where she baked the fresh cakes and treats – not to mention making a cheeky cocktail every now and then.

Before this, Sophie was the Restaurant Supervisor for 2 years at the 5 start Resort Rockliffe Hall, Darlington.

There’s nothing more Sophie loves than sitting on her balcony and indulging in a cheeseboard, glass of red in hand, getting lost in the view and watching the world go by.

Sophie also loves long hikes, having recently climbed Mount Snowdon, Wales; animals, particularly visiting zoos, sloths are her favourite animal; sightseeing holidays and taking photographs.
