Celebrate Christmas in the country with a traditional Christmas break at Gisborough Hall

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be wrapped in a warm Yorkshire welcome, and the Hall will be decked with all the trimmings of the season for your cosy countryside Christmas.

You’ll find plenty to enjoy – delicious festive feasts, freshly baked mince pies, carols by the fire, a visit to the local pantomime, and perhaps even a special delivery from Santa!

Christmas Eve

Arrive, unpack, and settle in for Gisborough Hall’s Christmas house party.  Then join us by the fire for afternoon tea canapés, carols and lots of festive cheer.  Before dinner, we’ll pop some fizz while live pianist fills the Hall with festive music – a perfect way to start your Christmas celebrations.

Christmas Day

Wake up to a full Yorkshire breakfast, then stretch your legs with a morning stroll through the countryside (or snooze a little longer!).  Back at the Hall raise a glass at our Champagne reception before enjoying a traditional Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings.  Spend the afternoon by the fire with a slice of Christmas cake and The King’s Speech.  The festive feasting continues into the evening with a carved buffet…because Christmas is all about indulging!

Boxing Day

Take it easy with a leisurely breakfast, then decide your adventure: a bracing Boxing Day dip in the sea, a stroll through the countryside, or simply get cosy by the fire. Lunch is a relaxed buffet, followed by a fun-filled trip to the local pantomime.  Gather for a cocktail before our Boxing Day black tie dinner and try your luck at our fun casino and race night.

27^th December

Enjoy one last delicious breakfast before we say a fond farewell, as you head home with festive memories to last until next year.
